The teams work together to plant crops and share produce, and are supported by volunteers and Master Gardener, Jano Nightingale. Beyond the environmental benefits of growing local, gardening provides numerous health benefits, including natural Vitamin D production, movement and exercise, bone development, and immune system strengthening.
