Open Enrollment is now through Oct. 5. Here are some tips to help you through the process.
See the Open Enrollment link on the City Intranet for all the information you’ll need to explore your benefit options and make your decision. View previous informational post.
After making your benefit decisions, access the following link: http://mypaycheck.carlsbadca.gov and select the OPEN ENROLLMENT tab.
Before clicking on ‘Access Open Enrollment’ confirm your Contact Information, Emergency Contact, Dependents and Beneficiaries; and add any dependents’ missing social security numbers.
Do not deactivate dependents from your Dependents’ Record as we are required to maintain history of coverage. This is different from dropping dependent’s coverage which is allowed.
Some fields that appear for Dependents and Beneficiaries are not required, i.e. Student, Smoker, etc.
Bonus: A Beach Cruiser bike will be raffled off at the Health Fair – you will be automatically entered if you complete Open Enrollment before Oct. 2.
Open enrollment may only be accessed using the Internet Explorer or Chrome browsers.
When closing the window, do not select the lower X because you will be logged off and will need to start over. Select the red X to close a window instead..
Have benefit questions? HR staff will be available on the dates below from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., on a first come first serve basis, to assist with online enrollment, spouses are welcome!
