Public Technology Institute, Computing Technology Industry Association and Rutgers University Center for Government Services recently recognized our Information Technology Director Maria Callander for her achievement in earning the Certified Government Chief Information Officer designation.
This yearlong course comprised of 240 contact hours and covered monthly reading and written assignments, online courses and a written Capstone Project that was presented to her class. Her coursework included overall work in project management, emotional intelligence, strategic planning for work and reviewing writing skills all related to her field of work within information technology.
Maria is now recognized among a growing group of local government technology professionals who seek to improve their technology leadership skills. Congratulations Maria!
