Answers to Budget Questions
The city remains in excellent financial health, according to the city’s finance manager, who presented a draft budget to the City Council at its May 21 meeting. A memo listing questions and answers about the preliminary budget is now available for review.
Trails Master Plan Available
The Trails Master Plan and final environmental review documents are now available on the city’s website and will be considered for approval over the coming months.The City of Carlsbad draft Trails Master Plan is a blueprint for how city trails will be developed and managed in the future.
Entre Tinta y Lucha Exhibit at Cannon Art Gallery Ends 6/9
The City of Carlsbad is hosting Entre Tinta y Lucha: 45 Years of Self-Help Graphics & Art at William D. Cannon Art Gallery, located in the Carlsbad City Library complex at 1775 Dove Lane. Admission is free. Sunday, June 9 is the last day to view the exhibit.
Summer Reading Adventure Begins 6/17
The City of Carlsbad’s 2019 Summer Reading Adventure for adults, teens, children, including toddlers and babies, begins on June 17 and runs through Aug. 11 at all Carlsbad library locations.
