Carlsbad, County Announce Airport Agreement

The City of Carlsbad and County of San Diego have announced a 20-year agreement that will provide a framework to work together on matters related to McClellan-Palomar Airport. The agreement is part of a legal settlement resolving the City of Carlsbad's lawsuit against the county regarding the environmental impact report for the airport master plan approved last October.

Community Center and Gardens Project Receives Award

The City of Carlsbad's Pine Avenue Community Center and Gardens project has been awarded the American Society of Civil Engineers' 2019 Outstanding Project award in the category of Community Improvement. The city will be recognized at the Society's annual awards luncheon on Friday, April 26 at The Dana on Mission Bay in San Diego.


Entre Tinta y Lucha Exhibit at Cannon Art Gallery

The City of Carlsbad is hosting Entre Tinta y Lucha: 45 Years of Self-Help Graphics & Art March 31 through June 9 at William D. Cannon Art Gallery, located in the Carlsbad City Library complex at 1775 Dove Lane. Admission is free.
