Public Safety Community Meeting Recap

The City of Carlsbad Police Department held a community meeting to discuss public safety concerns related to the tragic homicide on Outrigger Lane March 11. Police detectives reviewed information that can be shared about the case, answered the community's questions and shared crime prevention tips before a standing room only crowd.

Veterans Memorial Park Survey Closes 3/23

The City of Carlsbad is ready to develop a master plan for its next community park, and we need your input. Veterans Memorial Park is located on 91.5 acres, near the intersection of Faraday Avenue and Cannon Road. The first step in the master planning process is to get input on the community's values, needs and priorities for the park.

Carlsbad Recognized for Innovative Event

The City of Carlsbad's Pirate Plunge received an Award of Excellence this week from the California Park & Recreation Society for innovative programming, a statewide recognition that highlights creative recreational programs.

Spring Break Camps Offer Fun and Adventure

The City of Carlsbad offers a variety of fun and exciting spring camps for kids ages 3 to 13, during the week of April 1 - 5, to coincide with spring break for Carlsbad, Encinitas and San Marcos Unified school districts. Online registration is now open.

Earth Month Activities

April is Earth Month, and Carlsbad is celebrating with events and programs to help you reduce, reuse, recycle and more. Participation is free for Carlsbad residents. *Advanced registration is required for some events. Join us and help keep Carlsbad beautiful.
