Veterans Memorial Park Planning Begins

The City of Carlsbad is kicking off a master planning process for its next community park, Veterans Memorial Park, near the corner of Cannon Road and Faraday Avenue. Come to a special "Day at the Park" planning workshop and site tour to learn about the project and share your ideas.


Give Input on Spending Priorities, 3/4

The City of Carlsbad will hold a workshop to get input from the public on spending priorities for the fiscal year 2020 city budget. An online survey will be available for those who do not attend the workshop.

Art of the Aloha Shirt Exhibit

The City of Carlsbad's Cultural Arts Office presents Art of the Aloha Shirt: Keoni of Hawaii, 1938-51 through March 16 at William D. Cannon Art Gallery in the Carlsbad City Library complex, located at 1775 Dove Lane. Admission is free.

Sewer Construction Project Starts

A new sewer pipeline is being installed along Palomar Airport Road in Carlsbad that will transport wastewater from the Buena Sanitation District in Vista to the Encina Water Pollution Control Facility in Carlsbad.

Epic Tween Night at Pine, 2/23

The City of Carlsbad presents Epic Tween Night at Pine on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 6 to 9 p.m., at Pine Avenue Community Center. Parents can drop off kids, ages 10 to 14, for a fun-filled night of age-appropriate activities.
