Time Change This Weekend

As long as you're changing your clocks this weekend, City of Carlsbad public safety officials recommend making a few other quick changes around your home (Daylight Savings Time ends Sunday, Nov. 4 at 2 a.m.)

Carlsbad Hires First Chief Innovation Officer

Looking to become a model for how innovation can improve government efficiency and customer service, the City of Carlsbad announced the appointment of a well-known leader in the smart cities movement. David Graham will begin his new job as the City of Carlsbad's first chief innovation officer, starting Nov. 26.


Vote Early This Weekend, Find Your Polling Place and More Info

If you are too busy to vote on Election Day for the Nov. 6 Gubernatorial General Election, take advantage of weekend voting hours at the Registrar of Voters office Saturday, Nov. 3 and Sunday, Nov. 4.

Carlsbad Village Street Faire 11/4, Some Roads Closed

Several streets in Carlsbad Village will be closed Sunday, Nov. 4, to make way for the Carlsbad Village Street Faire, a community event featuring more than 800 vendors, live entertainment, food and kids' rides.

Palomar Airport Road Construction

The City of Vista is installing a sewer pipeline along Palomar Airport Road in the City of Carlsbad to deliver wastewater from Buena Sanitation District customers to the Encina Wastewater Treatment Facility. When completed, the project will provide additional future growth in flow capacity for both cities.
