The Carlsbad Municipal Water District recently received the 2019 Project of the Year award from the American Public Works Association, for its Advanced Metering Infrastructure project. Talk about innovative . . . this project allows the District’s service area to be monitored in real-time without human meter readers and will provide more efficient system maintenance, reduced water loss and increased water conservation.
Carlsbad Municipal Water District is one of the first agencies in the region to achieve 100 percent implementation of Advanced Metering Infrastructure.
