Fall Community Services Guide Available for Viewing

Read the Fall City of Carlsbad's Community Services Guide, complete with aquatics, dance, fitness, martial arts, preschool and special interest classes. Online registration opens Thursday, Aug. 1.

City Council to Review Airport Comments

The Carlsbad City Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday, July 31, at 9 a.m. to discuss its response to revised sections of the County of San Diego's draft environmental report for the McLellan-Palomar Airport Master Plan.

Survey for New Civic Center Closing 8/2

The City of Carlsbad wants to know what community members would like to see in a new city hall and civic center, which the city has been saving up for and will be ready to start building in 2023.

Night Work Scheduled for Poinsettia Station

Intermittent night work is scheduled for the week of July 30 at Poinsettia Station in the City of Carlsbad. Work will take place Monday through Friday, between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. The work is required for construction crews to continue installing a sewer bypass line near the northwestern end of the platform.

Snores & S'mores Family Campout Aug. 11-12

The City of Carlsbad's Snores & S'mores family campout will be held from 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, to 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at Aviara Community Park at 6435 Ambrosia Lane.
