As you’ve likely seen, we have officially launched the new Safer Streets Together pledge campaign, encouraging everyone who uses our roads to make this simple commitment:
“I care about my community and pledge to do my part
to keep Carlsbad's streets safe for everyone.”
To help build even more momentum, we are asking you, our city employees, to make this commitment. Here’s how you can get involved:
Add your name to this online form to make the commitment.
Put up a Safer Streets Carlsbad window cling on your car window.
If you live in Carlsbad, put up a yard sign encouraging your neighbors to slow down and be safe.
These items are available to pick up at all three city libraries, the Faraday Center and City Hall. After you’ve put up your window cling and/or yard sign, we’d love to see it! Snap a selfie or picture and send it to communications@carlsbadca.gov with your name and department. To share even more Team Carlsbad pride, we’d love to hear why safer streets are important to you.
