Questions

Eligible city employees can get vaccinated at any vaccine location. Appointments specifically for city employees will be shared as they become available via email and text message (city cell phones and those who have signed up their personal devices).

Who is eligible

General population 16 years of age and older - as of April 15, 2021

For a full list of vaccine eligibility, visit the county website.

All county vaccination sites are now allowing walk-ups without appointments. The number of daily shots available for people without appointments is limited at each site..

Documentation

If you are eligible under the emergency services or food and agriculture criteria, please fill in your name on this letter (also attached to notification emails) and be prepared to show a copy (printed or digital) to the personnel at the vaccination site, along with your city ID and driver’s license. Please note, not all sites will require all three forms of identification, but we want you to be as prepared as possible. Vaccination sites make the final determination about eligibility, not the city. This means you could be turned away if the site personnel find that you do not meet the eligibility requirements.

Appointments

You may make an appointment at any location providing vaccines, including Operation Collaboration sites, your own health care provider, a county vaccination site or a pharmacy. Operation Collaboration appointment links provided to city employees are for city employees only and may not be shared with family members or friends.

Vaccine supply remains limited. If the Operation Collaboration appointments are full, you can continue to check other vaccine sites for new appointments. We will advise you of additional Operation Collaboration site appointments as they become available. This could be outside of normal business hours and on weekends.

If you have a city cell phone or have signed up for the city’s text message service, you will get a text message from the number 797979 that looks like the image below:
